Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry The Numbers Come From the United States

NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and August.  https://www.bhol.co.il/news/1439018 The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This is a 13% improvement from the year before.

נווה פריצקי Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America.  נווה פריצקי He stated, "It's so exciting to once more see an increase of tourism to Israel from America, already exceeding or even surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel, and before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entries every month. We're so happy to see an improvement in the trend and expect a continued increase in the coming many months and years to follow."

In line with in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

Israel welcomed more tourists from all over the world during 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of them were American. Israel's official reopening for all travelers was May 2018. The country has already received more than 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
